How to Be A Part of the SOLUTION Instead of A Part of the Problem
Today I want to talk about moving forward and taking some steps to help you with whatever you’ve got going on. Some of us (a lot of us) are struggling with some things whether it’s major or minor; it could be your health, your finances, your family.. We’re always trying to get better and I wanted to give you a different way to think about things. A lot of times we fall into the trap of being our own problem. And when I say that, I mean we’re all constantly thinking about our problems, we’re all constantly thinking about our health, we’re all constantly thinking about our money, we’re all constantly thinking about family and this and that. Instead of being a part of our own problem, I want to help you be a part of your own solution. And when I say that, I mean by doing things and taking ACTION on things that are going to better the things we’re struggling with.
To give you an example, not that I was worried about my health, but I was thinking about what I’m doing this year to really make sure I’m healthy. It’s not all about weight, but stuff internally is important too. So I scheduled my annual physical at the doctor. I could have just worried and worried and worried. But instead I took ACTION and I was a part of the solution by making that appointment with my physician.
Maybe you’re having problems in your family; maybe everyone is not getting along, or there’s some fighting. I don’t know. Maybe it’s as simple as taking a long weekend and shutting off the cell phones and getting some good family-bonding time in. I know we can all use that once in a while. I remember going through some stuff with my dad and I told him, you know what, we’re going to get away, we’re going to go to Pennsylvania, play golf, stay in a hotel, chill out and talk. And it was great. Doing things like that really go a long way.
Instead of constantly thinking about our problems, constantly dwelling on the stresses in our lives, sometimes you just have to take small action steps to move the needle forward and help us be a part of our own solution and not be a part of the problem. I wanted to send this out because we’re all struggling with something (whether it’s major or minor). This is just something I thought I could encourage you on today. I am thankful and blessed to have you as clients and friends and family and I look forward to continuing help you reach your goals. Have a wonderful day.
