Are you living life to your full God-given potential or just going through the motions?
We often get to points of satisfaction in our lives, our businesses and our relationships that we stop challenging ourselves in these areas. We should be going to bed each and every night and be able to look in the mirror and say, “Yes God I did.”
Yes, I gave it my best in my relationship with you.
Yes, I gave it my best in my job.
Yes, I gave it my best in my workouts and in my nutrition.
When it comes to your job, are you giving it your BEST each day. We sometimes feel we are, but we are afraid to take it to the next level as we feel inadequate or lack the confidence to do so. Maybe it’s doing something you feel you aren’t great at such as writing a blog or shooting a welcome video for your website. Maybe it’s having that fierce conversation with an employee or boss you have been meaning to have for months or even years.
You become scared. Full of fear. Lacking FAITH!
Did you give it your best in the gym today?
Always remember that in the gym, YOUR BEST is YOUR BEST. Not someone else’s. Always give it 110% in your workouts for THAT DAY. It could be just giving 100% on a treadmill walk or walking your dog. Or getting every last rep you can on a squat. Remember you CAN DO IT. We get too concerned on what others are doing that we forget to look at ourselves. We forget where we were last year or last week and never realize what our BEST is. Because we are constantly focusing on what others are doing for their workouts. Whether it’s on Instagram, Facebook or YouTube…it’s everywhere to compare. Just be YOU.
Friends, last but not least I am encouraging you to be the best God fearing Christian you can. Serve Him. Praise Him. Glorify Him. Remember where he has brought you. Never forget His unconditional love, grace and sacrifice to bring you where you are today. Help others, have gratitude and have FAITH! Faith that God has gifted you to be an unbelievable person and to be the best you can be. I am going to say it one more time the BEST YOU CAN BE!
Fear shackles us from being the absolute best God has blessed us to be. Trust me, I know. A few weeks ago, I did something I have never done before. I spoke in front of 60 people at my friend’s Dad’s church and shared my story and testimony of how Christ has used my broken soul to help others and glorify Him. I was nervous, anxious and all the above. But, I had Faith He had me. His love never fails. He had me. Praise God.
Friends, if there is something you have been thinking about doing but feel scared or unconfident. Do it! Have faith, not fear!
